CornerStone TTS is seeking a Clinical Systems & Analytical Reporting (CSAR) Manager on a fully remote contract basis.


Job Description: Clinical Systems & Analytical Reporting (CSAR) Manager (Contractor - CW)

The CSAR Manager will serve as the Operations Manager for the Patient Data Reporting Team , overseeing key processes related to SAS Edit Check, SAS Clinical Data Reporting, and Spotfire operations . This role will manage system tasks supporting patient data reporting for both EDC and non-EDC data types and ensure service delivery compliance through collaboration with Functional Service Providers (FSPs) .

As a subject matter expert, the CSAR Manager will also represent the Patient Data Reporting Team in transformation projects, governance groups, and cross-functional integrations . This position will involve working with other CSAR Managers and cross-functional teams to identify operational efficiencies, develop business cases, improve delivery cycles, and enhance quality. The role includes supporting technical changes, driving process improvements, and mitigating risks to ensure smooth operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee SAS Edit Check, SAS Clinical Data Reporting, and Spotfire operations within the CSAR System Study Services & Programming group .
  • Manage Patient Data Reporting services , ensuring study timelines, metrics, and performance meet established expectations.
  • Advocate for automation and advanced technologies to streamline operations and promote innovation.
  • Act as the main contact for continuous improvement initiatives focusing on data mapping, handling, and quality .
  • Identify system efficiencies and develop processes to enhance quality, efficiency, and compliance .
  • Serve as a technical expert to support FSPs with patient data challenges, audit preparations, and adherence to governance policies.
  • Develop data integration strategies for external vendor-generated clinical trial data, promote program consistency, and drive process improvements to maintain data quality.


Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Doctorate degree
  • OR Master’s degree + 3 years of clinical experience
  • OR Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of clinical experience
  • OR Associate degree + 10 years of clinical experience
  • OR High school diploma/GED + 12 years of clinical experience


Top Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in SAS, Python, Tableau/Spotfire
  • Strong clinical operations experience
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry practices
