Corporate Resources, on behalf of our client located in Hoffman Estates, IL, is hiring a full-time, permanent Customer Support Specialist.


Customer Support Specialist – Hoffman Estates, IL

$45,000-$50,000/Annually

We’re looking for a Customer Support Specialist to provide professional, quality service to our existing customers. Our products reach over 40 countries, and we are continuing to advance and produce products that meet consumers’ everyday needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Use our business ERP system to retrieve customer information, stock status information, status of purchase orders and make changes to customer purchase orders as directed
  • Track and follow up on inquiries, quotations, and orders through our ERP system
  • Work closely with warehouse expeditors regarding deliveries of scheduled shipments
  • Process returns and credit requests; ensure all required documentation is obtained and forwarded to the customer
  • Ensure that the highest level of customer service is provided promptly and ethically
  • Generate and maintain accurate required documentation for our internal systems; such as customer account information, orders, proof of delivery, etc.
  • Collaborate with all appropriate departments and personnel to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Develop ideas that help the organization improve customer service, systems, and procedures


Basic Requirements:

  • 1 year of customer service experience within an office setting is required; experience within manufacturing is a plus
  • Must be confident with basic math function, able to think quick on feet.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
  • Team player
