Human Resources Administrative Assistant Department: Human Resources

Compensation: $21.00 - $22.00 / hour
Description iBUYPOWER is seeking a Human Resources Administrative Assistant to help support the Human Resources department. The administrative assistant will be responsible for general administrative tasks, property management, receptionist tasks, and special projects. Ideal candidates must possess a positive attitude, excellent initiative, previous experience, and an enthusiastic willingness to work flexibly in a challenging, fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities - Provide direct administrative support to the Human Resources department.
- Maintain and update records.
- Resolve any issues relating to property management in order to ensure a safe work environment.
- Set up maintenance and appointments for various equipment and facility-related issues.
- Active participation in Company's Activities and Safety Committees.
- Maintain and order office supplies.
- Book travel arrangements.
- Process employee reimbursements.
- Receive employee grievances and act accordingly to resolve them.
- Conduct research and prepare briefings for various special projects.
- Become thoroughly familiar with various department personnel and procedures in order to advise and assist management appropriately.
- Assume the role of a backup receptionist, stepping in to greet and assist customers, vendors, and employees at the main entrance when the primary receptionist is away or unavailable.
- Manage the full life cycle of all temporary workers.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications - Microsoft Office experience
- Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Bachelor's Degree preferred (or equivalent work experience)
- Bilingual in another language is a plus!
- If hired, must provide proof of full vaccination on start date, unless prohibited by federal, state, or local law. Full vaccination means receiving the second dose in a two-dose series (i.e. Pfizer, Moderna), or a single-dose vaccine (i.e J&J). Examples of proof of full vaccination include an original, photocopied, or digitally completed vaccination card that includes name, type of vaccine provided, and date of last dose administered.
