Certification Details BLS ACLS Job Details CVICU RN position at Health Creighton University Medical Center Specialty: CVICU Contract Length: 13 weeks Common diagnoses include open heart, complex thoracic and vascular patients. Job Requirements Must have 1 year of experience with this patient population Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS RNs required to titrate drips: Yes Charge Nurse on each shift: Yes No CNAs on the unit Hospitalist & Intensivist in house 24/7 Schedule Information Shifts: 0630-1830, 1830-0630 Weekend Requirements: Every other Holiday Requirements: Every other or as needed Floating Requirements: Will float to all inpatient units, excluding Maternity/NICU 2 shifts of unit/department specific orientation Additional Details Department: CVICU of Beds: 18 Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:01 Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, antiarrhythmics RT Equipment: All RNs required to troubleshoot No Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit; RNs need to read and interpret strips Scrub Color/Dress Code: Navy Blue Radius Rule: 50 miles; candidate may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit
