Duties and Responsibilities
* Perform Diagnostic Ultrasound procedures, focusing on obstetrical and gynecological ultrasounds in accordance with ACOG guidelines.
* Conduct ultrasound studies to assess fetal growth, development, age, and detect fetal anomalies.
* Execute ultrasound imaging for fetal diagnosis and anomaly detection for high-risk pregnancies.
* Perform fetal and umbilical doppler studies and provide ultrasound guidance for procedures like amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling.
* Assist physicians during procedures and participate in Procedure Verification/Universal Protocol when necessary.
* Review patient charts and follow physician orders diligently.
* Record vital signs and assist with inventory management, excluding controlled substances.

Skills and Physical Requirements
* Able to maneuver a 400-pound ultrasound machine to various locations for emergency scans.
* Frequent standing, stretching, bending, and physical dexterity required for patient care and equipment handling.
* Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and managing stressful situations with empathy and professionalism.
* Fluent in English with exposure to communicable diseases.

Experience
* 1-3 years of high-risk OB ultrasound experience required.
* Experience with routine obstetrical ultrasound imaging, machinery, and gynecological ultrasound imaging and pathology required.

Education and Certifications
* Graduate of a comprehensive Medical Diagnostic Ultrasound program required.
* Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Medical Sonography accepted.
* ARDMS (Ob/Gyn) certification required.
* BLS (AHA or ARC) certification required.
* Fetal Echo Registry preferred.

Pay: $50.00 - $56.00 per hour
