Job Summary:
The Customer Service Representative is responsible is part of the Customer Service Team located in Deer Park, Illinois and will be onsite.
This role reports to the Senior Manager, Customer Service and is responsible for providing an excellent customer experience, processing a high volume of orders accurately and managing all aspects of the customer order fulfillment process which includes order entry through delivery.

Interacts with customers over the phone or via email to identify needs and determine appropriate action or escalate for further review. May provide quotes, process sales order, document customer complaints, and respond to customer service needs, including shipment, billing and warranty issues, and basic product inquiries. May provide in-house training on non-technical customer support. Responsibilities: Process daily orders through multiple channels (phone, email, fax, EDI) Professionally handle incoming requests from externals and internal customers and ensures that issues are resolved both promptly and thoroughly by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution. Meet all ISO and budgetary guidelines with the objective of providing high quality support to Leica’s customers while continually striving to improve customer satisfaction.
