Job Overview: We are seeking a versatile and dynamic IT Asset Manager / Project Coordinator to join our team. This role will serve as the “right hand” to our hiring manger, assisting in various decisions and taking on operational and tactical responsibilities to allow him to focus on strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate is a "Jack of all trades" with a strong technical skillset, project oversight experience, and a background in management and/or highly organized.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support across different divisions as needed.
• Assist in handling operational and tactical tasks.
• Develop and implement project plans, including basic milestones and RACI discussions.
• Improve the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) data quality in partnership with the configuration service manager.
• Conduct technical writing (60%) and process improvement (40%).
• Utilize IT Service Management (ITSM) tools, primarily ServiceNow and Flexera.
• Enhance Application Portfolio Management (APM) tools.
• Extract and analyze data, working closely with data teams.
• Use project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, and PowerPoint.
• Provide data to Roger for reporting and presentations.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in IT asset management or project management.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow and integrations (preferred but not required).
• Strong technical skillset with experience in project oversight, technical writing, and process improvement.
• Experience with ITSM tools and methodologies.
• Ability to build project plans from scratch and list out large milestones.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• No banking or finance experience required.
• No administrative or developer experience required.
• No Salesforce experience required.

Ideal Candidate:

• Organized and a team player: Experience building out either an IT Asset Management (ITAM) or Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM) program, with hands-on experience in designing processes.
• Top three technical skills:
• Project Oversight/Management

• Process Improvement/Design
• Day-to-day responsibilities: Ensuring the team is tracking towards milestones.
• Resume requirements: ITSM process design, ITAM or SACM experience is a must. Project management experience is beneficial. No banking or finance experience required.

Additional Details:

• This role will not involve dealing with purchasing, licenses, or new IT assets. It will focus on managing current existing assets.
• The candidate will not manage the ITSM workflow but will deliver ITSM services.
• The role includes partnering with the new configuration service manager to address audit findings and improve domain management.
• The candidate will need to be flexible as this is a new position with evolving responsibilities.
