We are hiring for our client in the biotechnology industry.
Duration: 12+ months
Responsibilities:
- Lead small to mid-level projects from conception to completion, including equipment design and process engineering.
- Supervise contractors and coordinate mechanical assembly of designs.
- Perform hands-on tasks, including equipment installation, assembly, and qualification.
- Develop and lead qualification efforts for manufacturing process changes and new product introductions.
- Characterize manufacturing processes and establish controls for critical process drivers.
- Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring alignment with goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of converting and process industries, with a focus on mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., Inventor, SolidWorks).
- Hands-on experience with tools, machinery, and equipment assembly.
- Familiarity with industrial safety standards and regulatory principles (e.g., OSHA).
- Ability to lead cross-functional technical programs and collaborate with in-house and external resources.
- Knowledge of risk assessment, process validation, and structured problem-solving techniques.
