We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Engineer II to join our dynamic engineering team. This hands-on role is crucial to our equipment installation, modification, and optimization processes across our production facilities.
Mechanical Project Engineer II

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on installation support for new and modified production equipment
- Supervise and direct contract engineering technicians, maintenance personnel, and outside trades during equipment installation and conversion
- Execute equipment set-up, troubleshooting, and debugging
- Develop and manage installation checklists, schedules, and documentation
- Procure and expedite materials for equipment projects
- Redesign mechanical components to improve cost-effectiveness and resolve design challenges
- Provide training and guidance to technical teams
Qualifications: Education:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology
- BS in Mechanical Engineering
- BS in Project Management
Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant engineering experience
- Strong practical hands-on mechanical aptitude
- Comprehensive understanding of:
- Process variables (flow, temperature, rate, pressure, level)
- Mechanical drive trains
- Electrical and pneumatic actuators
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in:
- Windows
- MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- AutoCADĀ® 2023
- Inventor 2023
- MS Project
- Experience with pneumatic systems and schematics
- Knowledge of motion control and automated equipment systems
