Title: IT Support Engineer

Location: Hybrid, Alpharetta GA (3 days onsite)

Type: Permanent role

About the Role

We are seeking an IT Support Engineer to serve as the first line of defense for our technology needs. This role is ideal for a candidate with 5-10 years of experience , who has worked beyond traditional desktop support and has hands-on expertise in administering cloud-based accounts, troubleshooting Microsoft 365 integrations, and supporting Azure environments . This position requires a problem-solver who can support end-users while collaborating on infrastructure projects and improving processes alongside our Managed Service Provider (MSP) .


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced IT support for Microsoft 365, including administration of cloud accounts and integrations.
  • Set up and manage workstations, user accounts, password resets, and troubleshooting while ensuring a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Act as a technical liaison between internal teams, external vendors, and the MSP, ensuring efficient issue resolution and process improvements.
  • Assist with Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations and basic data management within Azure environments .
  • Support network troubleshooting , understanding IP addressing, connectivity issues, and basic networking principles .
  • Engage in technology projects , including software rollouts, system upgrades, and security enhancements.
  • Provide support for external clients and custodians , ensuring seamless communication and technical assistance.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5-10 years of IT support experience, with at least 5 years in an advanced support role .
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration and experience with its integrations .
  • Exposure to Azure environments and the ability to troubleshoot cloud-based systems .
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts , including IP configurations .
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interact with internal teams and external partners .
  • Experience working with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) is a plus.
  • Bonus:
  • Experience in financial services or a similar regulated industry.
  • A technical degree (preferred but not required).
