Our local Kansas City client is seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager to support a six-month contract (with potential for extension) for a renowned construction firm experiencing record-breaking growth. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work flexible hours in the Western time zone, with all necessary equipment provided. The role involves sourcing and recruiting top talent for large-scale projects, focusing on positions like Project Managers and Superintendents.

If you're passionate about talent acquisition, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and value collaboration, this role is for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for 25-50 open roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide tailored talent solutions.
  • Educate and sell candidates on the company’s culture, values, and career opportunities, especially in West Coast markets.
  • Leverage sourcing tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter and SeekOut, to identify top talent in technical fields such as mechanical, electrical, and construction management.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Coordinators to streamline scheduling and onboarding processes.
  • Maintain candidate pipelines using ATS and spreadsheets, ensuring data accuracy and transparency.
  • Conduct outreach via phone, email, and text to engage candidates who may not actively use LinkedIn.
  • Collaborate with a supportive, innovative Talent Acquisition team to deliver exceptional results.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting, preferably in construction, engineering or a technical field.
  • Familiarity with ATS platforms and pipeline tracking tools.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment.
  • Experience with technical sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and SeekOut.
  • Flexibility to work in the Western time zone and adapt to changing priorities.
