Position Overview

The Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies, attracting top talent, and managing the talent acquisition process from sourcing to onboarding. This position will provide insight and direction to the hiring managers, executives, and other team members by understanding their hiring needs, current market trends and attracting the right people to continue driving the success of the business. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in recruitment, strong leadership skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with various teams.


Responsibilities

  1. Manage a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists who facilitate the entire life cycle of recruiting: candidate sourcing, interviewing, and hiring.
  2. Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract and select qualified candidates for various positions within the organization.
  3. Oversee and manage the entire recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and presenting potential candidates to hiring managers.
  4. Focus on delivering a superior candidate experience throughout the entire recruiting life cycle.
  5. Partner with key hiring managers and leaders across the business to ensure strategic alignment.
  6. Utilize various sourcing methods to attract a diverse pool of candidates, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
  7. Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and other talent acquisition partners, ensuring effective collaboration and timely delivery of qualified candidates.
  8. Oversee the candidate background check process working with background check vendor and NDCP’s Safety team on drug testing and DOT candidates.
  9. Manage the offer negotiation process and provide guidance to hiring managers to ensure competitive and fair compensation packages are offered to successful candidates.
  10. Ensure successful implementation and use of all features of the Applicant Tracking System. Troubleshoot issues with the applicant tracking and onboarding system. Ensures both systems are updated accordingly.
  11. Oversee the New Hire Orientation Program working with the Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist and Human Resources Generalist to keep the PowerPoint presentation updated.
  12. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment to continuously enhance the talent acquisition process.
  13. Develop and monitor recruiting metrics and reports to track the effectiveness of recruitment efforts, analyze data, and make strategic recommendations for improvement.
  14. Lead and develop the recruiting team while continuously improving our delivery for exceptional results.
  15. Mentor and provide training to HR team members on recruitment strategies, tools, and techniques.
