Addison Group is looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to enhance their growing corporate team in Chicago!

Roles & Responsibilities

The analyst will join a strong, cross-functional finance team. Specific responsibilities for the team include:

Analyzing financial and operational results. Creating weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for leadership (C-Suite and Board) to support and define strategic decisions.

Creating the company’s annual budget. Internal metrics will be leveraged for a “bottoms up” budget that will benchmark division, office, and individual performance.

Supporting and enhancing metrics analysis. Delivering high impact reports for the salesforce across the organization.

Managing the reports and analyses as it pertains to the company’s individual sales producers.

Enhancing the reporting and analytics provided to leadership to be utilized to drive executive decision making.

Supporting integration of finance operations for potential company acquisition activity.

Ad hoc analysis to support executive team. Direct requests from CEO, CFO, and division presidents will be the norm.

Qualifications

Undergraduate college degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, math, or other business/quantitative field

Highly skilled with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Familiarity with Planful or other EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) solutions highly preferred

Experience with Great Plains or an ERP system considered a plus

Able to analyze and summarize financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Statement of Cash Flows)

Proficient in working with large data sets to quickly validate or determine causals

High level of quantitative thinking with strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, ability to multi-task as a team player
