Key Responsibilities:

- Use CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to create detailed designs, drawings, and models for mechanical components, assemblies, and structures.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and design reviews to validate mechanical solutions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, shop technicians, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.
- Communicate technical requirements, timelines, and design considerations effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in mechanical engineering, specializing in machine/system design, development, and integration.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) with occasional use of simulation tools.
