Job Description:
This position will provide end-to-end support for InfoEd and related research grant applications, ensuring system reliability and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues, minimizing downtime for research staff. Manage software updates, patches, and system upgrades in alignment with institutional policies. Provide technical training and support to end users to maximize system utilization and efficiency.
Required Skills/Proficiencies:
- Experience with desktop support/onsite physical support
- Experience performing imaging and re-imaging of desktops, laptops and other physical hardware utilizing SCCM or MECM.
- Experience supporting a Microsoft 365 environment.
- Experience troubleshooting AV and conference room technologies.
- Experience using Active Directory for password resets, permissions, and group policy.
- Experience working in ticketing systems (Cherwell, ServiceNow, Remedy, etc)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
