Pay: $35-$43/hr (depending on experience)
Schedule : 1st shift
Type of role : 6 months contract; possible extension

Research Scientist II daily tasks :
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of polymer samples to support vision care research and development projects.
- Design and execute experiments to for materials characterization, ensuring accuracy, precision, and reliability of results.
- Validate analytical methods including High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), and other relevant techniques.
- Interpret and analyze experimental data and present findings to internal customers.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Good documentation and laboratory practice. Good communication.
Research Scientist II Requirements:
- MS, or B.S in analytical chemistry, chemistry, materials science or related scientific field ( 2+ years with MS, 5+ years for B.S )
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Hands-on experience in wet chemistry, spectroscopy analysis, or separation science ( such as HPLC, or GC etc.)
