Job Description:


The Oracle Cloud Reporting and Extensions Lead will oversee, designing, developing, and managing reporting solutions and system extensions within the Oracle Fusion Cloud and third-party SaaS application ecosystem. This role ensures that reports and extensions meet business needs, adhere to best practices, and optimize the use of Oracle Fusion Cloud capabilities.


Responsibilities:

The Oracle Cloud Reporting and Extensions Lead will have a well-rounded profile with the right combination of significant and progressive professional expertise in BI Analytics and Reporting as well as extension building tools & technologies to support IT Enterprise Applications.

  • Lead a team of analysts and developers working on Oracle Fusion Cloud and Third-Party Software SaaS Applications reporting and extensions.
  • Act as a bridge between business users, Functional team and technical teams, translating requirements into actionable technical deliverables.
  • Train and mentor team members on Oracle Fusion Cloud Analytics, reporting and extension best practices.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize reporting frameworks and dashboards using relevant tools (e.g., Oracle BI, OTBI and Smart View, and other tools such as Crystal Reports, and Microsoft Power BI).
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of data in reports.
  • Develop advanced data models and custom dashboards to provide actionable insights.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, protocols, and standards for Oracle Cloud.
  • Implement and maintain Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) for users and administrators.
  • Optimize the performance of reports and extensions to ensure scalability and efficiency.
  • Regularly monitor and update solutions to align with Oracle Cloud updates and patches.
  • Create and manage extensions for Oracle Cloud Enterprise Applications to enhance system functionality.
  • Customize forms, workflows, and APIs to enhance Fusion Cloud functionality.
  • Ensure extensions align with industry best-practices including Oracle standards and organizational requirements.
  • Test, deploy, and document extensions to ensure reliability and scalability.
  • Stay updated with Oracle Fusion Cloud features, tools, and industry trends.
  • Recommend and implement innovative solutions to improve reporting and system functionality.


Key Qualifications:

  • Expertise in SaaS implementations including Oracle cloud ERP, HCM, SCM and EPM applications.
  • Expertise in BI Publisher, OTBI and Smart View reporting.
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries to retrieve data from Oracle Cloud.
  • Ability to create and manage data models in BI Publisher or Oracle Data Visualization.
  • Proficiency in Oracle Cloud REST APIs for extracting data programmatically when required.
  • Experience in building advanced dashboards and reports in OAC for enterprise-level analytics.
  • Familiar with scripting languages like Groovy for extending functionality in Oracle Cloud reports.
  • Ability to understand and translate business reporting requirements into technical specifications.
  • Experience in defining and visualizing key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.
  • Proven experience in building Oracle Fusion Cloud extensions using Oracle Visual Builder, Application Composer, Oracle Application Express (APEX), and related tools.
  • Expertise in Developing EPM Cloud Narrative Reporting and Financial Reporting Studio.
  • Expertise in designing and developing interactive and dynamic dashboards.
  • Knowledge of best practices for data visualization and dashboard design.
  • Expertise in developing Reports and Dashboards with charts, grids, and KPIs effectively to convey information.
  • Experience integrating Oracle EPM with other data sources like Oracle ERP, on-premise databases, or third-party systems.
  • Expertise in multidimensional data modeling in EPM, including dimensions, hierarchies, and cube structures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.


Type of Education Required:

  • Graduation from an accredited College or University with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems related field or
  • equivalent experience. Professional Certification in Financials/Supply Chain Domains is an added advantage.

  • Minimum of 10 years of development experience with Oracle Cloud Narrative Reporting, BI Publisher, OTBI, Smart View and Financial Reports.
  • Minimum 10 years of Cloud experience with Personalization and Extension on Fusion cloud Applications.
  • Minimum 10 years of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, HCM, EPM and SCM Implementations as Techno-Functional Lead.
  • Experience in Public Sector including Education (K-12) project or program work, preferred
