*Overview*

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for critical care nursing and providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

*Responsibilities*
* Monitor and assess patients in the ICU setting
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
* Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement patient care plans
* Perform procedures such as spinal taps, airway management, and triage
* Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition promptly
* Provide education and support to patients and their families

*Job Description:*

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurses (RN) care for both Intensive Care Unit (ICU) patients and Intermediate Care (IMC) patients on this 26-bed mixed acuity unit with 6 dedicated CVICU beds. Typical ratios consist of 1:1 for high acuity patients, 1:2 for general Intensive Care Unit (ICU) patients and 1:3 for Intermediate Care (IMC) patients. Our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) level patients consist of Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) patients

*Deal Breaker:*

Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program

Minimum one year of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) experience, two years of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.

License/Certification

RN – Registered Nurse

BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)

Covid Vaccination card OR Religious/Medical exemption.
