*Job Title:* Physical Therapist

*Location:* Kinston, NC 28501
*Shift Timing:* 7 AM to 3:00 PM

*Hours per week:* 40
*Duration: *13 Weeks of contract

*Pay Rate: $*50 per Hour


*Responsibilities:*

*Evaluate Patient Conditions*
* Assess physical abilities and limitations through detailed evaluations and diagnostic tests.
* Identify impairments and develop personalized goals and treatment plans.

*Develop Treatment Plans*
* Design customized rehabilitation programs tailored to each patient’s condition and goals.
* Focus on improving mobility, reducing pain, and restoring functional movement.

*Provide Therapeutic Interventions*
* Deliver therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities (e.g., heat, cold, ultrasound, electrical stimulation).
* Utilize techniques to improve strength, coordination, range of motion, and flexibility.

*Educate Patients and Families*
* Teach patients and caregivers proper exercises and techniques for at-home care.
* Provide guidance on injury prevention and healthy lifestyle practices.

*Monitor Progress and Adjust Plans*
* Track and document patient progress during therapy sessions.
* Modify treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.

*Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals*
* Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure comprehensive care.
* Communicate findings and treatment plans to the healthcare team.

*Promote Patient Recovery*
* Motivate and encourage patients throughout the rehabilitation process.
* Provide emotional support to help patients achieve their physical goals.

*Maintain Compliance and Safety*
* Adhere to state and federal regulations as well as company policies.
* Ensure the safe use of therapy equipment and maintain a clean treatment environment.

*Stay Current in the Field*
* Keep up with advancements in physical therapy techniques, tools, and technologies.
* Attend continuing education courses and obtain certifications as necessary.

*Requirements:*
* NC PT License
* BLS Certificate

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $48.00 - $54.39 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
