We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Addiction Medicine Nurse Practitioner (AGNP or FNP) to join our client’s team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a profound impact on individuals recovering from substance use disorders. While experience in addiction medicine is not required, we are looking for candidates eager to learn and grow in this specialty. Comprehensive training and mentorship will be provided.

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Conduct comprehensive assessments, including physical exams and mental health evaluations, for patients with substance use disorders.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for addiction, in collaboration with the care team.
* Prescribe and manage medications such as buprenorphine and naltrexone in accordance with federal and state regulations.
* Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
* Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about addiction, recovery, and harm reduction strategies.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, behavioral health professionals, and case managers, to ensure holistic care.
* Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
* Stay informed about the latest evidence-based practices in addiction medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities.

*Requirements:*
* Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in NY..
* Certification as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).
* Passion for working with patients in addiction recovery and a commitment to providing patient-centered, nonjudgmental care.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience in substance abuse/addiction medicine preferred, but not required.





_Please note- The annual base salary range is $120 to $150k. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer._
