*School Nurse (RN)*
The School Nurse will be responsible for promoting and maintaining the health and well-being of students in our client’s educational institution. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine commitment to the overall welfare of students.
*Responsibilities:*
Conduct health assessments for students to identify and address any health concerns or conditions.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records for each student.
Respond promptly to medical emergencies, accidents, or illnesses within the school setting.
Administer first aid and coordinate with emergency services when necessary.
Administer prescribed medications to students according to physician instructions and school policies.
Maintain a secure and organized system for storing and dispensing medications.
Provide health education to students, staff, and parents on topics such as nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention.
Collaborate with teachers to integrate health-related topics into the curriculum.
Ensure that all students meet immunization requirements as mandated by state and local regulations.
Keep records of immunizations and communicate with parents about upcoming vaccine schedules.
Offer guidance and support to students with chronic health conditions, ensuring they can fully participate in school activities.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other school personnel to develop individual health care plans when necessary.
Conduct vision, hearing, and other health-related screenings as required.
Communicate results to parents and recommend further evaluation or treatment when necessary.
Establish and maintain effective communication with healthcare providers to coordinate care for students with ongoing health needs.
Act as a liaison between the school, parents, and healthcare professionals.
*Requirements:*
* Current and valid RN license.
* Bachelor's degree in nursing (preferred).
* Experience in pediatric or school nursing is a plus.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.

Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer._
