Your Role:
As a Process Engineer III , you’ll take a lead role in the design and optimization of process systems and plant facilities. Your work will ensure that all client objectives are met while maintaining the highest industry standards. From creating process flow diagrams (PFDs) to running advanced process simulations , your expertise will be key to delivering successful projects. You will directly influence the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze client requirements and design innovative process systems and facilities
- Collaborate with clients and cross-functional engineering teams to translate process designs into actionable plans
- Develop and review PFDs , P&IDs , heat/material balances, and detailed process datasheets
- Perform process simulations using leading software tools such as HYSYS , Aspen Plus , or Pro/II
- Size, select, and prepare specifications for essential process equipment, including pumps , compressors , reactors , and heat exchangers
- Lead and participate in safety reviews such as HAZOP, HAZID, and PHA
- Assist in preparing project proposals and technical documentation
- Support plant start-ups and provide ongoing operational support to ensure smooth project execution
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (required)
- At least 7 years of experience in process engineering , design engineering , or a related field
- Proficient with process simulation tools (e.g., HYSYS , Aspen Plus ) and equipment sizing
- Strong understanding of industry codes , standards, and best practices
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor junior engineers
