- Compensation: $60,000 - $65,000 annually (DOE)

A Day in the Life of the HR Generalist
As the HR Generalist, you'll play a key role in ensuring a supportive and dynamic work environment for staff across seven club locations and the administrative office. You’ll manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, and compliance. By fostering engagement and professional growth, you’ll directly contribute to the mission of empowering youth and families in the community.
Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing recruitment and onboarding to attract and retain top talent
- Coordinating and facilitating professional development workshops for staff
- Addressing employee relations matters while fostering an inclusive and engaging workplace culture
- Ensuring compliance with federal and Utah labor laws and internal policies
- Assisting with performance management processes and coaching emerging HR staff
- Developing and maintaining HR policies and procedures, including employee handbooks
- Tracking HR metrics to identify trends and make data-driven improvements
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a nonprofit environment
- Strong knowledge of Utah labor laws and HR best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- SHRM or PHR certification preferred but not required
