We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Administrator to join our team, supporting daily office operations and ensuring smooth shipping and inventory processes. This role involves managing calls, investigating inventory issues, scheduling truck routes, and assisting with security, facility maintenance, and customer interactions. Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of warehouse and supervisory experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems. Responsibilities
- Answers all warehouse office telephone callsAnswers all warehouse office telephone calls
- Schedules Extra Trucks as requested by customers for Carriers: Aides in daily Truck Route Configuration.
- Collaborates with Inventory Control to execute and validate Inventory adjustments for the Warehouses utilizing reason codes.
- Verifies and approves Transportation Trucking Charges.
- Charges customers UPS Charges, updates order with tracking info and executes invoices once UPS ships order
- Back up to the Traffic Scheduler: With receiving department manager, conveys instructions. Data entry of purchase orders, quantities, delivery dates and delivery date changes for all scheduled deliveries.
- Back Up: from the office, through the internal security phone system, screens inbound visitors, trucks and employees at guard booth. Grants access to the property and issues instructions on where to go.
- Assisting in the maintenance of the warehouse grounds, snow removal, landscaping, cleaning and housekeeping, burglar, video and fire systems, plumbing, electrical and climate control systems
- Schedules appointments for annual and/or quarterly testing of the Fire Alarm, Burglar Alarm, Fire Pump, Water Flow, Fire Extinguishers, and Backflow Certification.
- Orders, oversees and maintains first aid supplies, safety equipment, uniforms, janitorial, employee lockers, warehouse supplies and cleaning supplies
