This position promises exposure to complex projects and significant professional development in a collaborative and dynamic environment.LocationDutiesSupport senior attorneys in advising clients on renewable energy projects, including tax incentives and financing structures.Assist with tax-related aspects of project finance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and joint ventures.Work with developers, lenders, and investors in areas like solar, wind, geothermal, and carbon capture projects.Gain exposure to federal tax law, renewable energy tax credits, and tax strategies under the Inflation Reduction Act.Draft tax memoranda, agreements, and other legal documents.Provide strategic tax advice on complex financial transactions.Collaborate with a team of highly skilled lawyers and participate in high-profile projects.Requirements2-3 years of experience as a tax lawyer.Familiarity with renewable energy tax credits, including those under the Inflation Reduction Act, and partnership taxation.Strong academic background and excellent research skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.EducationJ.D. from an accredited law school.LLM in Taxation is preferred but not required.CertificationsLicensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction(s).Additional certifications in tax law or renewable energy law may be advantageous.SkillsExpertise in tax law, particularly with a focus on renewable energy projects.Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to explain complex tax matters to clients.Proficient in legal research and drafting of legal documents.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required.Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing demands.#J-18808-Ljbffr
