Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Software Developer with expertise in designing and developing ETL pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter/IDMC.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data warehousing methodologies, ETL processing, and dimensional data modeling.
You will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining ETL components for multiple applications, while working closely with business users to gather requirements.
Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, test, and maintain ETL components for multiple applications.
- Leverage Informatica PowerCenter/IDMC to build ETL pipelines.
- Apply data warehousing methodologies and dimensional data modeling techniques.
- Develop advanced SQL queries and ensure high-quality database design.
- Work with business users to gather requirements and manage scope.
- Utilize shell scripting in a Linux/UNIX environment.
- Collaborate with teams working in a big data environment with technologies such as Greenplum, Hadoop, and HIVE.
- Handle large data volumes effectively and optimize ETL processing.
Required Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in designing and developing ETL pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter/IDMC.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processing, and dimensional data modeling.
- Advanced SQL skills and knowledge of database design techniques.
- Experience programming in a Linux/UNIX environment, including shell scripting.
- Experience working with big data technologies such as Greenplum, Hadoop, and HIVE.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with large-scale data volume management and optimization.
- Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and tools.
- Experience in data migration and transformation processes.
