Job Summary
The MRO Data Analyst will focus on improving the Client's database for Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) items such as motors and bearings. This role involves cleaning and updating data, resolving inaccuracies, and ensuring proper categorization of MRO items in the system. The analyst will use available resources, including supplier data and internet research, to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the database.
Key Responsibilities
•Identify and correct inaccurate or incomplete data through internet research and supplier/manufacturer resources.
•Categorize MRO items into appropriate groups.
•Verify whether MRO items already exist in the system, update existing records or create new ones as needed.
•Use the ""Integrity"" tool to add, update, and make necessary changes to MRO item data.
•Meet the data management goals set by the Project Manager.
•Ensure data is accurate, up-to-date, and free from errors or omissions.
•Correctly categorize MRO items and add missing details.
•Incorporate data from old records into updated item details.
•Add relevant extra data to new and updated items.
•Identify and flag items that require further research.
•Achieve weekly/monthly goals as set by the Project Manager.
Required Qualifications
•Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
•Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
•Proficient in data management tools (experience with ""Integrity"" or similar tools is a plus).
•Strong research and analytical skills to verify and improve data accuracy.
•Ability to work independently and with a team.
•This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with large datasets.
•Strong communication skills are necessary for collaborating with the team and meeting project requirements.
