Pride Health is hiring for a Social Worker to support our client’s medical facility based in Cambridge, MA. This is a 13-week assignment opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

• Perform biopsychosocial evaluations in accordance with departmental policies and standards.
• Document notes related to ongoing work in a timely and comprehensive manner.
• Collaborates with MD in planning and participating in family meetings.
• Provides support and education to patients and families related to illness, hospitalization, and post discharge options and follow up.
• Assists in facilitating the continuum of care and accessing community services for patients and families as needed.
• Completes insurance reviews as indicated.
• Utilizes supervision by bringing appropriate materials for discussion and following up on recommendations.
• Participates in daily rounds and consults with other clinical staff to facilitate enhanced patient care.

Education/Requirements:

• Master's degree in social work from an accredited school.
• Minimum 2- years of experience in health care, with special interest and understanding of mental health diagnosis, substance issues, and interpersonal/domestic abuse.
• LCSW licensure with plan for LICSW.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Strong computer skills. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams.
• Ability to exercise sound clinical judgement in fast-paced and demanding settings.

Schedule: Day Var. Shift (8) - 8:00 start- 40 hrs/week

Weekly Gross: $2000 to $2,444 weekly (*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise and education.)
