Our fast-paced company seeks a professional Human Resources Director to lead all HR functions for our growing organization. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution to build and maintain a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee payroll administration and coordinate with external payroll provider, ADP.
- Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring a smooth candidate and new hire experience.
- Oversee benefits administration and compliance, including PTO, health insurance, 401(k) retirement plans, and other employee programs while managing vendor relationships.
- Lead the performance management process, develop and improve review frameworks, coach managers, and facilitate feedback discussions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and maintain necessary documentation and records.
- Create and update HR policies, employee handbook, and standard operating procedures.
- Communicate and explain new directives, policies, strategies, and procedures to managers; for significant changes, meet with entire operations staff to explain changes, answer questions, and maintain morale.
- Work closely with building property management and external vendors to keep up with building and A/C repairs.
- Handle sensitive employee relations matters with discretion while fostering a positive work environment.
- Responsible for training, evaluating performance, and providing regular feedback to the front desk receptionist to maintain high professionalism and customer service standards.
- Assist Rogers Healy agents and realtors with office needs.
- Greet Rogers Healy agents, vendors, clients, and guests with a warm welcome.
- Set a professional and positive tone for the office every day.
- Project a positive image of the organization to employees, agents, clients, industry, and the community.
Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent judgment and decision-making skills, particularly when handling confidential information and sensitive employee matters.
- Advanced understanding of federal and state employment laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
- Strong conflict resolution and mediation abilities to effectively handle employee relations issues.
- Financial acumen to manage budgets, analyze compensation data, and make cost-effective benefits decisions.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and external partners.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems (ADP specifically), Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and progressive HR experience that demonstrates comparable knowledge and expertise.
- 3 or more years of progressive HR experience.
- SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
- Real estate, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred.
