Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and support negotiation of various types of complex agreements
• Conduct ongoing legal research to stay current with evolving laws and precedents, advising the organization on potential impacts and necessary adjustments.
• Represent the company in administrative proceedings, arbitration, and litigation if necessary, working closely with external legal counsel when necessary
• Assist in managing external counsel relationships and overseeing legal expenses.
• Stay informed on legal trends, industry regulations, and potential risks that could affect the company’s operations.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the state bar.
• Licensed to practice in Texas
• 5+ year of relevant experience
• Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various legal documents and agreements.
