·       Receive and process specimen shipments

·       Prepare samples for routine testing and analysis

·       Monitor, operate and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper functionality 

·       Conduct testing under supervision

·       Perform routine technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures

·       Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving

·       Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe lab environment

·       Will assist with safety, hazardous waste, and facilities

·       Performs other duties as needed
