Growing organization in the southwest suburbs is looking to hire a hands on Procurement Specialist to join their team! This position will be extremely hands on and work closely with the supply chain team and Procurement Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Place purchase orders for raw materials and other goods
• Monitor and track the inventory levels
• Forecast materials that will be needed
• Track and confirm order delivery timelines to avoid product delays
• Assist in identifying and implementing cost-savings
• Maintain supplier relationships, local and international
• Other duties assigned by manager

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelors Degree preferred
• 2 or more years of relevant work experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Knowledge of inventory management

The salary range for this role is $65,000-$90,000. The compensation package offered will depend on the candidate’s ability to meet the requirements of the role and a range of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to their skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location.
