Job Description:
The Purchasing Assistant will support the procurement team by managing purchase orders, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials for construction projects. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, tracking inventory, and assisting with supplier performance evaluations to remain within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage vendor packets, qualifications, and project vendor lists
- Handle pricing requests, price changes, and feature list revisions
- Process purchase orders, change orders, and notices to proceed
- Maintain accurate contract files and coordinate vendor paperwork
- Update project plans, manage product binders, and organize the office
- Prepare bid packages and resolve invoice or purchase order issues
Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
