Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an Operations Specialist II to support critical securities processing functions within our firm. This role involves handling trade entry, foreign exchange processing , trade settlements , corporate actions, and reconciliations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced financial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify operational securities transactions , ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls .
- Handle trade instructions , receipt authentication , and transaction entry .
- Support global custody, securities lending, and prime brokerage functions.
- Reconcile and research trade discrepancies, collaborating with internal teams for resolution.
- Generate reports and provide status updates to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: BS/BA degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 0-1 years of industry experience (securities lending a plus).
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Familiarity with securities lending applications (Global One, Equilend, Loanet) is a plus.
