Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled Mechanical Component Technicians to support testing operations for high-pressure systems, valves, and hydraulic components. This role involves hydraulic, pneumatic, cryogenic, and environmental testing , including leak checks, pressure regulation, and vibration testing . Candidates should have a strong mechanical background with experience in valves, hydraulics, or testing procedures . The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with data acquisition systems (LabVIEW, Dusoft) and must be able to navigate work orders to ensure proper testing procedures are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hydraulic, pneumatic, cryogenic, and environmental testing on components.
- Conduct leak checks and regulate pressure on various valves and piping systems.
- Set up data acquisition systems and understand instrumentation needs.
- Ensure all work orders are followed correctly for proper testing procedures.
- Handle high-pressure systems while maintaining safety protocols .
- Work with safe gases (99.9%) in a controlled environment.
- Operate vibration tables for critical component testing.
- Train lower-level technicians as needed.
- Utilize mechanical lifts for products heavier than 45 lbs .
Required Qualifications:
- Level 2 Technician: Minimum 2 years of experience in testing or mechanical roles.
- Level 3 Technician: 3-5 years of experience in testing, hydraulics, or mechanical components.
- Strong background in mechanical systems, valves, or hydraulic-related testing .
- Experience with data acquisition systems (LabVIEW, Dusoft) is a plus.
- Ability to work in tight spaces and lift up to 45 lbs .
- Comfortable working with pressure systems and high-pressure safety procedures .
- Prior experience in aviation, helicopters, automotive, or satellite industries preferred.
- Previous experience at SpaceX, Cipher, or similar aerospace companies is a plus.
