Vision Software Engineer


Overview:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, evolve, and debug vision systems for folding carton and bag manufacturing
  • Develop real-time image processing applications and graphical user interfaces
  • Implement TCP communication between applications
  • Write software to solve complex technology interoperability problems
  • Assist with design concepts for new products and applications
  • Test equipment, products, and systems designs
  • Evaluate and report on new vendor products and prototypes
  • Develop and test real-world scenarios
  • Integrate multiple components for testing on a single platform
  • Make recommendations to improve programs and processes
  • Assist customers with installation and provide technical support
  • Train internal and external customers on vision systems


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in related work
  • Proficiency in LabVIEW G Dataflow graphical programming and hardware integration preffered
  • Experience with real-time applications, image processing systems, and TCP/IP communication
  • Proficiency in text-based programming (C/C++/C# preferred)
  • Knowledge of internal vision hardware, designs, optics, and camera logic
  • Familiarity with software toolchains and build systems


Additional Details:

  • Flexible work schedule with partially remote option after 90 days

  • Staring salary between $120,000-$150,000 depending on experience
