We’re looking for a Production Manager to support areas such as tube cutting, coil winding, fusion welding, and more. What You’ll Be Doing
As the Production Manager , you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient operations, continuous improvement, and employee development while delivering high-quality products. Your key responsibilities include:
- Optimize Manufacturing Processes : Manage, control, and improve production workflows to achieve peak efficiency and quality.
- Streamline Operations : Identify and eliminate production bottlenecks, reduce lead times, and minimize waste (material scrap, labor, and inventory).
- Leadership Development : Train, mentor, and motivate group leaders and supervisors to foster a culture of excellence and growth.
- Employee Management : Handle reviews, benefits, disciplinary actions, and employee development to maintain a strong and cohesive team.
- Ensure Product Excellence : Oversee the production of high-quality products, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
- Strategic Equipment Selection : Participate in the selection of manufacturing equipment to enhance efficiency and capabilities.
- Collaborate for Innovation : Interface with engineering teams on design improvements and assist in cross-departmental projects.
- Drive Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities to refine processes, implement best practices, and pursue innovative solutions.
What We’re Looking For
- Educational Foundation : Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline preferred.
- Proven Experience : Minimum of 10 years of related experience, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Technical Mastery : Knowledge of engineering principles, including bills of material, product costing, machine/tooling design, and CAD systems.
- Track Record of Success : Demonstrated accomplishments in leadership, problem-solving, and operational improvements.
