Position Reports To: SVP of Merchandising
Purpose of Position: To lead and manage the company’s rebate strategy and execution related to ION lighting.
Position to remain posted until at least January 31, 2025
Salary Range : $70K-$80K / DOQ
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee rebate identification, application processes, and compliance across projects, ensuring clients maximize savings and maintain regulatory adherence
- Develop relationships with utility providers, managing internal teams, and driving customer satisfaction in rebate initiatives
- Lead the identification and qualification of utility and state-level lighting rebate programs
- Maintain a comprehensive database of available rebates by state, region, and utility provider
- Develop and refine processes for rebate submission, tracking, and reporting to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate with sales and project management teams to integrate rebate opportunities into project proposals
- Advise customers on rebate opportunities, providing insights to maximize project savings
- Develop and implement strategies to streamline rebate workflows and improve the overall rebate lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to rebates and incentives
- Review and audit rebate submissions for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
- Keep updated on changes
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or complimentary experience related field
- 5+ years of experience with previous category or product owner responsibility in the controlled environment agriculture industry
- Understanding of rebate programs strongly desired
- Solid technical understanding of cultivation styles, and controlled environment product application, specifically lighting
- Experience with financial analysis and modeling
- Extensive experience leading teams & cross-functional projects
- Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
- Ability to synthesize large quantities of and complex data into usable/actionable information
- Track record of taking ownership and driving results in a data-driven, fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to interact with and influence leadership and customers
- Proven ability of working with and managing external vendors and partners

Compensation includes a salary commensurate with experience, participation in group insurance plans upon eligibility, paid time off, sick leave, parental leave and more. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. Part-time employees are eligible for up to six (6) days of paid sick leave (subject to state and local laws), two (2) weeks of paid parental leave, and participation in the 401k.
