Ultimate Staffing Services is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Estimator to join a leading electrical contractor based in California. This exciting opportunity is perfect for an experienced professional with a strong understanding of electrical construction and the entire bid process.

• Read and interpret plans, scope of work, and bid documents.
• Prepare onscreen takeoffs and independently produce high-quality, accurate estimates.
• Provide breakouts, clarifications, and additional pricing as needed.
• Manage the design stage of design/build projects.
• Oversee the quotation/bidding process, maintain bid logs, job calendar, and project job folder.
• Transition projects awarded to the General Manager and/or Project Managers.
• Build and expand relationships with the existing customer base and seek out new bidding opportunities.
• Develop and train junior estimators.
• Assist with other duties as necessary.
  

• 5+ years in estimating with experience from start to finish.
• Solid understanding of pricing/bidding.
• Knowledge of Accubid and Live Count software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word is essential.
• Self-starter with the ability to multi-task.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Willing to learn and take on responsibility quickly.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• Previous electrical construction experience is a plus.
• Construction Management Degree is a plus.
• Valid CDL with a clean driving record (verified and approved by our insurance company).
