OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a highly motivated Benefits & HRIS Specialist to round out our Human Resources team. This individual is passionate about the Human Resources function overall and what makes an organization stand out from the crowd.

You will report directly to the Director of Human Resources and work closely with hiring managers across multiple functions. This is an individual contributor role based out of our North Brookfield, MA location with the flexibility to work from home one day per week.  

Responsibilities

• Manages, administers and trains on all Associate Benefits – Go-to person for questions associated with the benefits including on-boarding, retirees and terminations.
• Responsible for all government and state filings (5500, EEO, WC, 401K filings, etc.) and notifications to the staff.
• Responsible for company leave of absence program in conjunction with multi state programs. Handles some employee relations issues in partnership with HR team.
• Interface with vendor for all HRIS and time clock systems including training, report writing, data maintenance and accuracy; works closely with payroll to ensure proper documentation and data entry has occurred timely and accurately.
• Collaborates with HSE, Health & Safety Manager on Workers Compensation and LOAs on tracking, managing medical appointments with our preferred clinic, reporting, etc.
• Oversight partner for company sustainability reporting working with global partners as well as collaborating with the team on Corporate Sustainability initiatives.
• Maintain company training records and have oversight into necessary reporting.
• Perform other similar or related duties as assigned or directed.
• Become a brand ambassador in all activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field required; HR Certification is an added plus
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience, including benefits, compliance, learning and development
• Thorough knowledge of all local, state and federal employment-related laws and regulations
• Proven track record of building and implementing effective benefits programs to attract and retain great talent
• Proficiency in using HRIS (Paylocity), Applicant Tracking Systems and LMS platforms
• Problem-solver and solutions-driven – Finding the answer motivates you!
• Commitment to quality, collaboration with colleagues, all while operating with a high sense of integrity and confidentiality
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; people view you as a trusted advisor, a creative problem solver, and a brand ambassador
• Prior experience working within a global manufacturing organization with HQ outside of US added plus

LOCATION: North Brookfield, MA

SALARY: $ 75,00-85,00 annually
