*Responsibilities*
* Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
* Perform vital sign assessments and document patient medical histories accurately.
* Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to assist the dentist during procedures.
* Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
* Review documentation to ensure compliance with dental office protocols and standards.
* Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures, ensuring a child-friendly approach.
* Maintain knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
* Operate dental office systems efficiently, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.

*Qualifications*
* Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting.
* Strong understanding of medical coding related to dental procedures is preferred.
* Familiarity with general dentistry practices and pediatric dentistry is advantageous.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
* Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for documentation review.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
* Current state licensure as a Dental Hygienist is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
