Position Summary

As a Heavy Civil Estimator you’ll play a key role in shaping project budgets, analyzing blueprints, and coordinating with vendors and subcontractors. Your expertise will help us maintain quality standards and meet financial goals on each project. Ideal candidates are highly analytical, detail-oriented, and familiar with the Houston construction landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare precise cost estimates based on project specifications, labor requirements, materials, and schedules.
• Build strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
• Develop detailed reports and communicate project estimates to internal teams and clients.
• Stay informed on Houston market trends, material pricing, and local codes and regulations.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in construction estimating, ideally focused on heavy civil projects.
• Skilled in construction estimating software (such as ProEst, PlanSwift) and Excel.
• Knowledgeable about Houston’s construction costs, codes, and market dynamics.
