Contemporary Japanese Steakhouse restaurant looking for all FOH positions.

Arts District is raising the bar in the fast casual. Here is an opportunity to work with great people on a great team. We are an independently owned, looking for additional FOH team members. 

Barista experience is a plus, but if you don't have it, we will train you.  

We need a dependable people who are very organized, dedicated, willing to learn, have a good attitude as well as great communication skills. Weekend availability is a must but we are flexible with schedules and everyone can rotate.

Kodo has garnered a local following from industry and neighborhood alike, as well as other local and national publications for our commitment to extending ourselves to the surrounding communities. We have a wonderful team of people who share our commitment in serving the best food and beverages in town.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and attentive service to all guests throughout the entirety of their visit
• Anticipate guest needs and note any preferences provided by the guest
• Maintain full knowledge of beverage, pastry, kitchen and retail items
• Handle any guest situations with genuine empathy and elevate to a manager as necessary
• Complete all opening, mid, and closing procedures; complete daily checklist and side work assignments
• Organize money and receipts in adherence with cash handling policy
• Keep all areas of the restaurant clean and organized
• Assist with supply orders, stocking and communicating what is needed

Qualifications

• 12 months of related restaurant experience 
• Cleaning and Organizational Skills
• Friendly and Attentive
• Experience with POS Systems / Toast is a plus                      
• Flexibility in schedule is highly preferred
• Ability to be cross-trained in all areas of the restaurant
