Job Summary
The Freight Audit & Payment Specialist supports the Freight Audit & Payment program managed by the Global Logistics Organization. This role involves collaborating with internal and external business partners to process exception invoices, match freight spend with shipment records, and maintain basic freight spend reporting.
Key Responsibilities
•Resolve exception invoices, identify root causes of exceptions, and develop corrective actions with appropriate business partner(s).
•Maintain freight payment data for Global Logistics spend visibility platforms, transportation management systems, spend anomalies applications, freight audit and payment solutions, and/or other digital tools.
•Engage with stakeholders to understand their freight invoice processes and implement and maintain procedures in the centralized audit tool.
•Support the monthly freight spend accrual process.
•Maintain global logistics spend reports.
•Manage validation table updates to align with all Global Logistics Organization (GLO) systems.
•Support key initiatives of the Global Logistics Organization (GLO), Global Supply Management (GSM), and business supply chain initiatives.
Required Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree required. A major in Business, Logistics Sourcing, or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
•Proven record of minimum 3 years of experience in the logistics industry, invoice audit, and/or accounting.
•Proficiency in Microsoft 365 is required.
•Knowledge of data visualization tools such as PowerBI, Flows, SharePoint is an advantage.
•Resourceful and capable of working with large datasets to drive key actionable insights.
•Result-oriented with excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
•Strong collaborative skills for working with global stakeholders and across functions.
•Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
