About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead and manage its finance staff, both domestically and internationally. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing the firm's financial operations, including monitoring capital, managing compliance with allocation policies, and maintaining performance reporting for all funds. This role also involves extensive experience with US pass-through investment and fund structures, managing treasury operations, negotiating debt financing, and coordinating with external auditors. The CFO will play a key role in the firm's compliance program, particularly in relation to Registered Investment Advisor registration and SEC audits, and will be expected to stay current on industry trends and regulatory initiatives.Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a strong background in finance, with a focus on the asset management industry. The role requires the ability to evaluate and implement technology solutions, as well as experience in investor relations, including fundraising and responding to inquiries about tax consequences for various types of investors. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing a finance team, fostering a culture of inclusion and success, and building trusted relationships with investors. A deep understanding of financial and compliance aspects of the business, including those related to foreign investors, is essential. The CFO will also be expected to support the firm's investor relations team and participate in the preparation of investor meeting materials.
