About the Role
The Company is in search of a strategic Vice President of Finance to lead the financial planning, reporting, and strategy for its new entity. The successful candidate will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for overseeing budgeting, forecasting, capital structure management, and financial risk mitigation. This role demands a strong analytical mindset, leadership skills, and the ability to align financial strategies with corporate objectives. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing long-term financial strategies, providing executive leadership with financial insights, ensuring the accuracy of financial models, and leading financial performance analysis. The VP of Finance will also be tasked with maintaining the highest standards of corporate governance, identifying and mitigating financial risks, and building a high-performing finance team.Applicants for the Vice President of Finance position at the company should hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with an MBA, CFA, or CPA being preferred. A minimum of 10 years' progressive financial leadership experience, including a senior management role, is required. The ideal candidate will have expertise in corporate finance, capital markets, and financial planning and analysis, as well as a strong understanding of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements. Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is a proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships. Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is necessary, and prior experience in a consumer packaged goods company is a plus.
