About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations to play a pivotal role in the organization's mission of providing essential furniture and supplies to families in need. The successful candidate will be responsible for all internal operations, including design management and delivery, human resources, and financial management. This role is key to allowing the CEO to focus on external activities such as fundraising and partnership development. The VPO will be a strategic leader, with a hands-on approach, and will work to improve operational, financial, and programmatic processes to increase the capacity of the organization. Strategic leadership, design management, human resources, and financial and operational management are the core areas of focus for the VPO.The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a passion for the mission, a flair for design, and a proven track record in management. They must have a Bachelor's degree, a minimum of 3-5 years of management experience, and exceptional skills in financial, organizational, logistical, human resources, and administrative areas. The role requires the ability to set and achieve goals, strong communication skills, and the capacity to lead a team with a focus on continuous improvement. The VPO will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with key partners and ensuring that the organization's operations are in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
