Role Description
This is a full-time, salaried on-site role for a Sous Chef. The Sous Chef will assist the Executive Chef in preparing and cooking dishes, creating menus, managing inventory, and supervising kitchen staff. The Sous Chef will also ensure food quality, freshness, and presentation meet the restaurant standards.
Qualifications:
Culinary degree or equivalent experience
Vast knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety guidelines
Experience in a high-volume kitchen
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong leadership and communication skills
Attention to detail and creativity in food presentation
Familiarity with local and seasonal ingredients is a plus
Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings, is required
