LHH is working with a reputable law firm in seeking an experienced Contract Attorney to join their legal team in Torrance, CA. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in civil litigation defense. This role offers a hybrid work environment, with two days onsite per week.

Key Responsibilities:Manage a caseload of consumer warranty and lemon law litigation cases.

Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.

Conduct legal research and prepare comprehensive legal memoranda.

Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, depositions, mediations, and settlements.

Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and opposing counsel to develop and execute effective litigation strategies.

Ensure adherence to state and federal procedural rules and guidelines.

Qualifications:Licensed to practice in California.

3+ years of experience in civil litigation defense.

Strong understanding of state and federal court procedures.

Proven ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously.

Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setting.

Pay Details:

$80.00 to $85.00 per hour
