The Maitre d' is responsible for overseeing the dining room experience, ensuring exceptional hospitality, and coordinating front-of-house operations. This role requires a strong presence, impeccable organization, and the ability to manage guest expectations seamlessly. The ideal candidate is polished, personable, and thrives in a high-end dining environment.
Key Responsibilities: Greet and seat guests with a warm and professional demeanor.
Manage reservations and waitlists to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction.
Act as the liaison between the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service.
Handle guest concerns and special requests with discretion and efficiency.
Oversee the training and performance of hosts and front-of-house staff.
Maintain an organized and welcoming dining room atmosphere.
Assist in event planning and execution for special occasions.
Qualifications: Previous experience as a Maitre d', lead host, or restaurant manager preferred.
Exceptional customer service and conflict resolution skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Knowledge of reservation and POS systems is a plus.
Passion for hospitality and high-end dining experiences.
